The years flow one into another ..... all lit by the light of God's love. I am so thankful that "Uncle Bob, Aunt Betty and Robin" remain a consistent and rock-steady part of the Garbee Family .... through the days of Stewart's Rootbeer, Jimmy Dogs, laughs at Lafayette College (go Leopards), life in Jersey, adventures on Long Beach Island, and retirement in the southeast. A genuinely kind, compassionate, warm and loving man, Uncle Bob - through God's grace - has now moved on to be with our Heavenly Father. Uncle Bob will be missed by all who have known him here on earth yet we rejoice in the favor of having known such a wonderful, warm and loving man. May you find continued peace, Aunt Betty and Robin, as your faith inspires all who love you. Huge Hugs from Cindy

Dear Robin and Mrs. Smith (Betty), I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I feel priviledged to have met your Dad, Robin, a few times through the years. He was always so positive and welcoming and eager to hear what was going on in my life. I found this to be very heart warming. It was so obvious how much he loved you both... Peace to you both at this most difficult hour. Regards, Karla

I have known Bob for 57 years. He has been part of my family for as long as I had one. Bob can best be described as a person of service and leadership. We shared many things including our family's, fraternity, college and interest in people through government. He is missed already.

Mrs. Smith and Robin, I am so sad to hear the news. I will always cherish our time at the shore with you. From all the board games we played and our time on the beach. Bob was great to me and I am saddened by the news.

Please accept our sincere condolences. I had the privilege to know Bob as a golfing partner and Methodist member. I know him as a real friend and one of the genuine " good guys". He was a gentle man and was respected by many. We will miss him but we know where he is and we know that his suffering is over. God Bless Betty and family.
